Seeing is Believing!
One of the main advantages of using a long-term residual disinfectant coating such as BRShield is that it provides a high level of antimicrobial protection 24/7 for an extended period of time, in the case of BR Shield, at least 180 days protection, 24 hours a day, day in day out, or your money back!
Without actually being able to see it for yourself, however, it is often difficult to comprehend, or even imagine, the microscopic activity (or in this case, the lack of it) occurring an invisible antimicrobial coating. As they say, ‘seeing is believing’, so Big Red has brought this otherwise invisible landscape to life with the use of an electron microscope which is capable of magnifying things hundreds of thousands of times and thereby bringing the microscopic world of germs into our field of view.
Below are time-lapsed images of two surfaces. The one on the left has been treated with an application of BRShield and the one on the right has not. However, both have been inoculated with the same variety of fungal spores.

It can be very clearly seen that the spores on the treated surface remain non-viable and fail to germinate. Conversely, on the right, the untreated surface shows unequivocal evidence of the spores germinating and then the microorganisms proliferating unchecked.
The same would be true of 99% of all known germs including yeasts, fungi, bacteria and viruses. On a surface coated with BRShield, the microorganisms are destroyed on contact. Seeing is believing!
