Water Damage in a Daycare Centre for the Elderly
Imagine water cascading down from the ceiling in your electronics store during operation hours! This is exactly what happened at one such store in a shopping mall.
The sprinkler was situated on the ceiling which was at a height of 40 meters, and while the main water valve was being shut off by the building management, a section of the store suffered some water damage. Thankfully, our Big Red team was on-site within the hour to start the drying and clean-up process.

Project Overview
Considering that the store was still operational, Big Red had the task of restoring the wet materials, electronics and other fixtures as quickly as possible – without minimal disruption to the store and its customers. The silver lining to this flood disaster was that the merchandise was largely unaffected by the water.
Result
The stabilization and drying of the affected areas were completed within 2 days – allowing the departmental store to operate at full capacity. There is a heightened demand to deliver swift results when there is a disaster in a public area and we are proud that Big Red was able to do just that.
